2024 is Going to Be a Great Year
Whether in print, audio, or in person, this is going to be a fun year. Let’s run through what is happening.
The Multicast Audiobook
First, the biggest news: a four person-cast audiobook version of Fallen is on the way. I have teamed up with Squeaky Cheese Productions to create a dramatized audiobook edition of Fallen.
Additionally, the novel’s soundtrack will feature in the audiobook!
Going on Tour
There will be two public appearances where I will talk about Fallen, Risen, and An Odd Pilgrimage.
First, on March 17th, I will be at the St. Joseph Art Festival at St. Mary’s Church in Washington, DC. Besides me, there will be a variety of Catholic artists, writers, dancers, and more.
Additionally, I have been invited to be a guest at BASEDCON from September 6-8. Besides my own promotion, I look forward to meeting other independent creators, swapping tips, and enjoying meeting fans.
Risen in Editing
The editing of Risen continues. Right now I’m over 60 percent through going line by line. Once that is done, I will listen to Microsoft Word’s text-to-speech to catch errors. After that is the final step of giving it to a formal editor. Once that is complete, then it’s out for publication!
Back Page Ad
Finally, the Spring 2024 (Issue #18) of Cirsova: Magazine of Thrilling Adventure and Daring Suspense has a back cover ad for Fallen. Check out Cirsova for 300-plus pages of independent stories when it comes out on March 15.

Brain Fog by MJ Chance - Book for Sell
In a world teetering on the brink of a medical revolution, Dr. Allison Perez stands at the vanguard with her groundbreaking creation: the Neuday nanocyte. This marvel of modern science promises a new dawn for those trapped in the twilight of degenerative brain diseases, offering the power to reawaken dormant neural pathways.
As the whisper of her nanocytes buzzes around the world, a more sinister plot unfurls. The owners of her laboratory, driven by greed, have a plan that doesn't involve cures or care. It involves absolute control—control they will kill for.
Now a target in the deadly game of corporate espionage, Alli's only ally is an enigmatic bodyguard who breaks his allegiance to shadowy employers to protect her. As he promises to protect her, Alli is haunted by more than her would-be assassins; she's haunted by the memory of her deceased brother Justin and the sudden reappearance of his childhood friend—Carson, a man whose life suddenly threads through hers in ways she’s only beginning to understand.
As the line between friends and lovers blurs, Alli’s battle transcends the physical. Her fight is with the very technology she created. With every neuron she fires, every ally she trusts, and every secret she uncovers, Alli Perez must navigate the fog not just to save her own life, but to ensure the future freedom of the human mind.
Will Dr. Perez outsmart those who seek to silence her? Or will the Neuday's dawn be eclipsed before it can break the horizon?
"Brain Fog" is a cerebral thriller that merges the cutting-edge of technology with the age-old anatomy of murder. It's where the pulse of medical science meets the human heartbeat, and where one woman's intellect is the only firewall against a ruthless enemy.
