As soon as I saw "an Italian hospital," I knew it had to be Padre Pio's hospital. Thanks for sharing this! I have Paul Thigpen's book but have yet to read it.
Well, you have as much evidence as Padre Pio did for your counter hypothesis. :) The history of the Church discussion over the possibility, and what it *could* mean for the faith *if* aliens were real are fascinating topics though I love to research and discuss
Oh yeah, totally with you. Then most intriguing component to his claim is that ‘they are not fallen’. I’d ask why he supposes that. But it’s interesting that he considered that (I did too, in my argument) because I think most don’t even consider that question. It’s an important part of the mystery.
It is an interesting question. Maybe he hoped that other creatures would love God more than are fallen ancestors? Interestingly, of the two known spiritual creatures, homo sapiens sapiens and the angelic, both had Falls. All humanity fell and a third of the angels. So unless he had insight which he never stated he had, it is a mystery why he would have thought so.
> And it’s available for free on the Internet Archive.
*applause*. Every so often I remember to make that site a small donation for the times when I have been looking for a very specific rabbit and they pull it out of their hat.
Awesome detecive work, thanks for sharing this!
I love getting down to the actual sources. It's like an old school adventure game.

I still say aliens don’t exist 😎

Fantastic research, Patrick! Well done!
Thanks. I love deep research.

The Internet Archive is a national treasure and should be protected at all cost.
Yeah, that's what I initially thought, too. But Daniel O'Connor is so poor in his research skills he botched his coverup attempt.
