I always thought that the autopsy scene was a little unnecessary, but I agree, it's a great movie!

To be fair, of any service to do an on-the-spot, unnecessary autopsy, it would be the Marines.

That... makes sense?

Air Force/Space Force: We need to get this back to our scientists to study this.

Army: Man, this is way above my rank. Let's take it back to base. Someone there will know what to do.

Marines: I got me knife. I got me an alien body. Maybe there's mashed potatoes and crayons inside!

Y'know, I was thinking about making a crayon joke, I'm glad that it is so ubiquitous.

I didn't knew that movie. I'll watch it 🌷.

It's a good "park your brain" and enjoy movie.

Woot! I’d love to hear what you think. It’s not perfect, but it is a hidden gem.

I've always been fond of this movie. Some elements are a bit lacking, but it's a lot of fun. I like the idea of the aliens as Vikings. They're not here to conquer or exterminate the entire human race or to steal our women, they're just here to destroy and plunder.

I like how there's a hint of the alien's agenda through a newscast but you're never quite sure. It could be a giant smash and grab like a Viking raid. Who knows? Grunts hardly know what's going on but the battle in front of them, and that's what we get to see in the film.

An alien invasion movie where the military does something besides die? What a concept!
