Podcast on Christianity and Judaism's Thoughts on Aliens
Plus Critical Thinking and Tucker Carlson
Brian Eskow is a construction project manager and law graduate on a personal journey to find his political identity. This journey led him to create a podcast called Searching for Political Identity (Amazon, Apple, Spotify, Pod.link). On his podcast, he talks to a wide range of people about their beliefs and the day's topics.
Recent public buzz about aliens, including Tucker Carlson's statements creating links between aliens and demons, led to me coming on the show. Though my name is misspelled and he inaccurately calls me a soldier, a term that refers to a member of the United States Army, in his added intro, this was a fun conversation. We touched on Christian and Jewish thoughts on the possibility of aliens, the need for critical thinking, my thoughts on Tucker Carlson's statements, and Fallen.
Upcoming Interviews with Non-American Science Fiction Authors
In a month, I will start a new series of interviews with non-American science fiction authors. I want to take a look at how different cultures handle different topics in the genre. Starting off, Omar Iftikhar will discuss his Pakistan-based science fiction novel Divided Species.
If you are a non-American scifi author and you want to be interviewed, feel free to contact me!

Ran Shaipur by T L Ryder - Book for Sale for $2.99
Welcome to D'Abraxas. We have genetic engineering. And vicious politics.
Several hundred years after humankind's settlement of the colony worlds, isolated D'Abraxas has gone its own way. After the collapse of its electoral government, D'Abraxas is ruled by nine warlords. With the help of friends in high places, Ran has seized control of the largest territory and plans to unify D'Abraxas once again. But not everyone approves of his methods. Plots and counter-plots flourish, especially among his accidentally acquired nine wives.
Even so, Ran's plans seem to be on track— until the General Union Space Corp comes calling. They claim they want to help reintegrate D'Abraxas into galactic society— for a price. One thing is certain: D'abraxas's in-atmosphere fighter planes no match for the General Union's massive starship. Can Ran keep his world safe? Or will the General Union seize control of D'abraxas for its own ends?

Thank you for reading this newsletter post. Next time, we will continue the religion and aliens series by looking at several ancient religions including Egyptians, Greeks, Zoroastrians, while comparing what they believed to “Ancient Aliens” (see previous editions of Catholicism, Orthodoxy, Protestantism and other Christian Groups, Islam, Judaism, and the Dharma religions). Then, we will have our first interview of a non-American independent science fiction author. Omar Iftikhar will discuss his book and Pakistani science fiction.
