I’m excited to announce Dormition, the third book in the Fallen series. Dormition will be a collection of short stories set before Fallen and after Risen. The connected series of tales will feature some of the characters from the two previous novels as well as some new ones (no spoilers on who makes it in Risen and who doesn’t). Chapters will be written in various formats including but not limited to traditional narratives, intelligence reports, and Sabia sacred texts.
What’s exciting is that while Fallen and Risen comprise “the Brendan Saga,” Dormition takes the Fallen universe in new directions. No more will Brendan Sean Murphy be the main character of the universe as his two-part cycle modeled in part on Saint Brendan’s voyage concluded in Risen (out in less than a month!).
I will release Dormition chapter by chapter here for free (with the option to donate as a thank you). Once it is complete, I will take it down and put it up on Amazon for sale. So, loyal, free subscribers get to read the story first!
